Getting Started
What the studio does, the five-step workflow, and what a new design means.
Welcome to UV DTF Design Studio
The studio turns your ideas, personalization and reference images into original artwork you can print as UV DTF transfers — for tumblers, glass cans, journals, acrylic products, decals and the other UV DTF applications you already make.
You never start from a blank canvas. You make visual choices, we handle the art direction, and you finish with a transparent PNG ready for your printer.
The Basic Workflow
- 1Choose — pick what you're making and a collection or starting point.
- 2Personalize — add names, wording, colors, style and details.
- 3Create — generate one or two concepts.
- 4Refine — request changes, fix wording or explore a variation.
- 5Finalize — review, size and download your transparent PNG.
Starting a New Design
New Design means a fresh creation session. Nothing from your previous design carries over on its own — no wording, names, colors, style choices, references, generated concepts or export settings.
Start Over, at the top of the creation screens, does the same thing on purpose: it clears the current session so you can begin cleanly.
Reuse is always something you choose. If you want a previous design back, open it in My Designs and use its reuse options — it never happens silently.
Ways to Reuse Something You Already Made
- Customize This Design
- Starts a new design from a saved one, bringing its creative blueprint forward and letting you replace the personalization. The original saved design is never changed.
- Create Variation
- Asks for another direction based on a concept you just generated, without rebuilding your choices.
- Refine
- Requests specific changes to artwork you already have.
- Create a Set
- Takes one approved design and produces many coordinated personalized versions.
